From the curatorial team of lead curator, Professor David Scott & co-curators O’Neil Lawrence, Wayne Modest & Nicole Smythe Johnson comes a selection of the works of 24 local and diaspora artists under the theme of the Jamaican idiom, “Pressure.”
WRITIVITY is organized to assist CSEC Visual Arts students with the development of their visual arts journals. By participating in WRITIVITY, students will be taught how to properly prepare entries for the journal, analyse art pieces and conduct art-related research within sessions that utilize the NGJ’s art collection and document resources.
From the curatorial team of National Gallery of Jamaica comes a very special Open Day gallery showcase. The NGJ will provide free entry to all patrons and the day will feature scheduled guided tours along with a special live broadcast by RJR.
